Farm & Art Open Day in Wagga Wagga

Art talk and walk
10am to 10.45am: Start at the Museum of the Riverina (Cnr Baylis and Morrow Streets Wagga Wagga) for a guided tour of the Earth Canvas Travelling exhibition.
Wagga Wagga artist Arthur Wicks will share his experience creating an art piece while working at Ayrshire Park, Big Springs.
Farm tour & lunch
11am to 3.30pm: Travel to Ayrshire Park (268 Livingstone Gully Rd, Big Springs – about 25 minutes from Wagga Wagga), a mixed farming business combining production, regenerative farming practices and conservation. Producing lamb and beef in the Riverina.
Hosts for the day Brad and Katie Collins will share their experience of building soils, plant diversity and using animals to achieve their goals.
Wiradjuri Elder will share experiences of local culture in the district.
Guest presenter David Hardwick an Agro Ecologist from Albury will talk about how we can build diversity to have productive farming businesses producing healthy outcomes. www.soillandfood.com.au
